Things That Are Ruing Your Teeth

We all know how much our teeth are important. They are important in chewing food. When we don’t have a few teeth, we cannot chew properly. This means that we swallow bigger pieces of food, so our stomach has problems digesting them. This can lead to several stomach problems. Beside already known things that destroy our teeth, there are some less known.
1.    Chewable vitamins are good for our health, but they are not good for our teeth. They have the same taste like gummy candy. The solution is to take your vitamins in a pill form.
2.    Dried fruit is also dangerous for your teeth. It contains non-cellulose fiber that stick sugar on and between your teeth. There is no fix for this. You should stop eating dried fruit. On the other side, fresh fruit is good for your teeth.
3.    Juices with high levels of sugar are bad. The more you drink them, more sugar comes in your mouth. Bacteria in the mouth, use sugar and transform it into the acid that damages your teeth. Never brush your teeth immediately after you drink a glass of juice. The acid is stronger then, and your teeth are vulnerable. The secret is to wait at least 45 minutes before you brush them.
4.    Barbecue sauce is also something you should avoid, because it is rich with sugar. But, you can swipe a layer of petroleum jelly before you eat. This will make a barrier between your teeth and barbecue sauce. It isn’t some strong protection, but it is the best you can have.
